This ALPA lens adapter allows the use of all Rollei PQ/PQS and Schneider/Rolleiflex AF/AFD lenses (Rollei mount) for autofocus and non-autofocus (only manual focus is available with this adapter on the ALPA) for the Rollei 600x and Franke & Heidecke Rolleiflex Hy6/Sinar Hy6/Leaf AFi system together with a Rollei Lens Control on the ALPA 12 platform. The lenses offer an image circle covering at least the conventional 6x6 format (or the ALPA format 44x66 with the identical image circle) for film and all available digital backs even with shift. Customers owning 600x PQ/PQS and AF/AFD lenses or plan to buy into that system, can now easily re-use the lenses and benefit even more from the ALPA 12 platform and (tripod use only as the Franke & Heidecke - formerly Rollei/Rolleiflex - LensControl S is needed which is not sold by ALPA)

• use Rollei mount lenses on film with other formats than 6x6 (cropping from larger film formats)
• use Rollei mount lenses digitally also with digital backs not providing adaptations for Rollei
• use some shift movements of the ALPA 12 SWA not found in the Rollei 600x and Sinar Hy6/Leaf AFi cameras
• use retrofocal wide angle lens constructions for those digital backs/sensors prone to color cast
• make use of the fastest leaf shutter available (PQ/PQS and some AF/AFD lenses with 1/1000) and combine them with the ultimate precision of the ALPA
